Today we visited Tanners Apple Orchard in Speer, Illinois. Tanners Orchard has been in business for the last 78 years in Speer Illinois. Tanners Farm started off in Deer Park, Illinois. When their business began to grow, they realized they needed more space. That's when they decided to move to Speer Illinois 78 years ago. Now they own 80 acres of farmland. They have 20 acres of apple trees and additional 20 acres of pumpkins. They have a wide variety of apples that include 17 different apples.

In a interview with one of the original owners, Grandma Tanner. I asked her how many pumpkins that they sell a year. " She said that she was unsure on how many pumpkins they sell during the year. That she would have to check every register to get an exact count. But did confirm that the number of visitors to their apple orchard was correct."
